Lore:
Carl the Invoker is one of the few remaining magicians who still employ the antiquated sorcery of Invoke, which enables him to control not one such spell but all three components of Quas, Wex, and Exort, as well as whatever magic he chooses to master using only his mind, will, and memory.
Carl was a young genius among the first to use magic in its most powerful and ancient form. He was a student at the famed academy of an old wizard, but the headmaster imprisoned him due to his destructive abilities. The intelligent wizard mastered not even seven incantations but 10 spells with immense power; one such power is in the longevity spell.
Carl, in his most potent form, destroyed the academy and took a time-travel spell from his instructor. The Invoker Dota 2, a strong and repressive magician who would annihilate anyone without magical abilities, was the subject of legends. His wrath significantly impacted how the magical arts were seen at the time.

Game Plan
Early Game:
Invoker Dota 2 requires more levels than any other hero, so gank only when there are good opportunities. To gank or protect the team, you must carry TP scrolls. Do not level up your orb until you have seen your opponent’s items.
Mid Game:
- Cold Snap or Meteor should be invoked before Forge Spirits.
- If you have a wex/quas build, use Chaos Meteor or Tornado to start a creep wave. Then, use your Forge Spirit to deflect the approaching creep wave and use Alacrity.
- Forcing yourself to stand next to Brewmaster, for example, use Spirits and Cold Snap immediately.
- Plan ganks by starting a tornado/emp or utilizing Ghost Walk to scout during the day. Keep your distance when fighting.
Late Game:
Push side lanes with Forge Spirits to offer your team additional opportunities to smoke gank. During ganks, use Cold Snap before Tornado. Remember to get your orbs ready. After the Cold Snap, cast Chaos Meteor to replace it. When defending towers, Alacrity should be employed, then Tornado. Cast Alacrity on your carry or forge spirit, then replace Meteor with it.
To break the magic immunity, think about beginning with Tornado and/or Emp/Ice Wall against heroes wearing Black King Bar. Next, cast Alacrity on Forge spirits as your crew leaves. If you don’t have BKB, cast an ice wall to make it tough for enemies to pursue you. Do not rush a slow siege; let the adversary commit the first mistake.
Counters
Anti Mage:
The mana required for Invoker’s spells and his mana supply is substantial. As a result, Mana Void’s catastrophic damage can easily affect Invoker and his squad.
Brood Mother:
Brood’s mother, a nullifier carrier, can easily kill Invoker.
Advantageous Matchups
Legion Commander + Invoker:
Invoker’s spells will disable and destroy Legion Commander while they are engaged in a Duel.
Medusa + Invoker:
EMP allows the Invoker to consume Medusa’s mana, weakening Mana Shield. Due to Medusa’s immobility, Invoker’s spells might swiftly end her life.
Tinker + Invoker:
Long-range disables from Invoker can quickly stop Tinker’s Rearm and Boots of Travel, even if he blinks away.
Invoker Dota 2 Most Used Skins:
1. Invoker | Trials of the Blackguard Magus
Invoker Dota 2 appears significantly more frightening with this configured instead of the default. The hero is typically quite imposing in the late game but is treated rudely in the early game. A set like this would deter your adversaries from pushing you under your tower.
2. Invoker | Arcane Drapings
Once Invoker put on the cape, it burst into dazzling energy and revealed its true form. Robo Nannou created it. It was released on October 21, 2013. Its price is around $0.2.
3. Invoker | Magus Apex
Magus Apex is an Invoker skin in Dota 2. On May 22, 2015, the game received the skin. The Sol Apex Incantation, which has been lost for over 9,000 years, offered its caster the ability to touch the sun, take in its dazzling splendor, and channel its scorching anger.
