The quarterfinals of BLAST Bounty Fall 2025 ended yesterday without a single upset. Some of the underdogs came close to winning maps, but they were ultimately defeated.
Team Vitality vs. Team Liquid: 2 – 0
Ahead of this match, CS2 fans were wondering whether Vitality still had it. Were they the same team that won seven consecutive trophies in 2025, or did the semifinal defeat from IEM Cologne finally broke them?
The answer is not yet clear. Vitality did win 2 – 0 against Liquid, but just look at the scores: 16 – 13 on Train despite a 9 – 3 first half, and 19 – 16 on Nuke.
Needless to say, Vitality’s players were not happy with this result. It was, perhaps, one of the most disappointing victories they’ve ever obtained.
MOUZ vs. Astralis: 2 – 0
After finishing 2nd at IEM Cologne, MOUZ were expected to crush Astralis in this match, and they certainly did. This was by far the most one-sided battle of the four. The scores speak for themselves: 13 – 8 on Nuke and 13 – 4 on Mirage.
Team Spirit vs. Virtus.pro: 2 – 0
Spirit had major problems on the first map against VP, losing the first half 3 – 9. But after that point, the match was very one-sided. The scores were 13 – 10 on Ancient and 13 – 3 on Overpass.
As usual, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets was phenomenal, finishing with a record of 43 – 23 and a rating 2.1 of 1.78.
The MongolZ vs. Aurora Gaming: 2 – 0
The MongolZ won the most disputed match of the quarterfinals of BLAST Bounty Fall and they achieved the seemingly impossible on the second map. After losing the first half 1 – 11, they won the second half 11 – 1 and won in overtime.
This is not the first time they have had such a monstrous comeback, so their opponents will no longer be able to celebrate after a successful first half.
