The eDPI Calculator is built for players who want to fine-tune their aim, find the perfect sensitivity, and reach pro-level accuracy without guesswork.
CS2 / CSGO eDPI Calculator
Find your effective DPI by multiplying sensitivity with DPI
Pro Adjustment Tips
What is eDPI?
eDPI (Effective Dots Per Inch) is your true in-game sensitivity.
It’s the number that shows how fast your crosshair moves when you move your mouse, no matter what DPI setting or mouse you use.
Think of eDPI as your real aim speed — the perfect way to compare your setup with others.
How It Works
The calculator multiplies your mouse DPI by your in-game sensitivity:
eDPI = Mouse DPI × In-Game Sensitivity
Example:
- DPI: 800
- Sensitivity: 1.2
= 960 eDPI
This number tells you how your setup compares with other players, even if they use different DPIs or sensitivities.
You can also add your Zoom sensitivity to get your Scoped eDPI for scoped weapons.
Why eDPI Matters in CS2
Every player has their own mouse and DPI, but eDPI keeps things equal.
It helps you:
- Compare your setup with professional players like s1mple, ZywOo, or ropz
- Find a comfortable balance between accuracy and fast aim
- Copy or adjust other players’ settings the right way
Most pro CS2 players use an eDPI between 800 and 1600.
Lower values mean more control, while higher ones mean faster movement.
How To Use the Calculator
- Enter your Mouse DPI — or use one of the quick preset buttons (400 / 800 / 1600 / 3200).
- Add your in-game sensitivity (for example: 1.2).
- (Optional) Enter your Zoom Sensitivity if you use scoped weapons.
- The calculator instantly shows your eDPI and Scoped eDPI below.
- Check your position on the Recommended Range Bar — it shows where your sensitivity fits.
- Click Copy eDPI to save or share your results.
You can also switch to Percentage Mode if your game uses percent-based sensitivity (like Fortnite or Apex). The tool adjusts the scale automatically.
Understanding the Range Bar
- 0–8000 Scale: Covers all realistic eDPI values.
- Green Zone (800–1600): Ideal for CS2 — most pros play here.
- Blue Zone: Fast sensitivity — suits hybrid or Valorant-style gameplay.
- Red Zone: Ultra-fast; works only for specific playstyles or wide-FOV games.
The bar updates live as you type, so you can instantly see how each change affects your eDPI.
