Mixing Table Rust: How To Get & Use | Recipes | Teas

New blog post - Tradeit.gg

I’ve spent way too much time in Rust trying to squeeze every bit of efficiency out of crafting, and if you’re anything like me, you want to know exactly how to get and use the Mixing Table.

This thing is a game-changer, especially when it comes to teas and explosive crafting. So let’s get into it—how to get it, how to use it, and what you can make with it.

Getting a Mixing Table in Rust is pretty straightforward. You can either craft it yourself or find it at Bandit Camp.

Crafting the Mixing Table

  • Workbench Required: Level 1
  • Resources Needed:
    • 200 Wood
    • 100 Metal Fragments
    • 3 Gears

If you’re short on Metal Frags or Gears, check roadside barrels, recyclers, or just raid someone’s base (if you’re feeling spicy). Otherwise, just head over to Bandit Camp and buy one for 75 Scrap—sometimes, it’s just easier than gathering all the materials.

How to Use the Mixing Table

The Mixing Table works like a simplified crafting station. You throw in the required ingredients, pick your recipe, and hit “Mix.” That’s it.

Here’s where it really shines: it lets you mass-produce teas and explosives way more efficiently than handcrafting. If you’re farming, raiding, or just trying to min-max resources, the Mixing Table is one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have it.

Best Mixing Table Recipes

1. Teas (For Efficient Farming & Looting)

Teas in Rust are ridiculously underrated. If you’re farming wood, ores, or scrap, these will make your life so much easier.

  • Basic Teas:
    • Wood Tea – Boosts wood gathering
    • Ore Tea – Boosts mining efficiency
    • Scrap Tea – Increases scrap found in crates
  • Advanced Teas: (Combine 2 basic teas of the same type)
    • Advanced Ore Tea – 2x more ore per hit
    • Advanced Scrap Tea – +100% scrap in loot
  • Pure Teas: (Combine 2 advanced teas)
    • Pure Scrap Tea – +200% more scrap
    • Pure Ore Tea – 3x more ore per node

If you’re running around with no tea buffs, you’re just working harder, not smarter.

2. Explosives & Raiding

The Mixing Table isn’t just for farming—it’s a raid enabler too. You can craft Gunpowder and Low-Grade Fuel in bulk, saving you a ton of time.

  • Gunpowder Recipe:
    • 30 Sulfur
    • 20 Charcoal
  • Low-Grade Fuel Recipe:
    • 3 Animal Fat
    • 1 Cloth

It’s a small thing, but when you’re making stacks of explosives, anything that speeds up the process is worth using.
