Tradeit CS2 Tools CS2 Bind Generator

CS2 Bind Generator

Build CS2 binds on a visual keyboard, then copy the console lines straight into the game. Every bind here carries a legality state, and the ones Valve blocked on official servers are refused rather than handed to you.

In short

A CS2 bind generator turns a key and a command into the console line you paste into the game. Pick a key on the keyboard below, pick what it should do, and copy the result. Since 19 August 2024 CS2 does not run binds that combine more than one movement or attack action on official servers, so this generator states the legality of every bind and will not produce a blocked one.

1. Pick a key

{{ keyHint }}

Keys CS2 already uses are marked. Binding over one of them replaces the default action, which is fine as long as you know which one you are giving up.

What you can bind in CS2, and what Valve blocks

Since 19 August 2024, CS2 does not run binds that combine more than one movement or attack action from a single input on official servers, with null-binds and jump-throw binds named as the examples in Valve's own statement. Everything else still works exactly as it always did, which is most of what people actually bind.

Valve also stated that players suspected of automating multiple player actions from a single input may be kicked from their match. That is why this generator classifies every bind rather than listing them flat, and why it refuses to output the blocked ones.

The one that catches people out is the jump-throw. It was standard practice for years, every old guide still publishes it, and re-entering it does not help because the block is server-side. The full history and the manual technique are in our CS2 jump-throw guide. The manual technique is covered in our jump-throw guide, which is being corrected before this page links to it.

How to install your binds in CS2

There are two routes. Paste the lines into the console to try them for one session, or save them in a config file so they load every time you start the game. Use the console first, then commit the ones you keep.

Config files sit alongside the rest of your settings, so it is worth reading our CS2 settings guide and launch options guide while you are in there. The exec line belongs in launch options if you want binds loaded on every start.

How to use the bind generator

Click a key on the keyboard, click the bind you want it to run, and the config line appears in the output panel. Load a preset first if you want a full set to edit rather than starting from nothing.

Buy binds in CS2

A buy bind purchases a full loadout from one key, and it is the safest kind of chained bind there is. Buy commands are not movement or attack actions, so joining several with semicolons is still allowed and still works on official servers.

Order matters. CS2 runs the commands left to right, so put armour before the rifle if you want armour guaranteed on a thin buy, or the rifle first if the gun is the priority. Anything you cannot afford is skipped rather than failing the whole line.

One caveat worth knowing. The same key cannot buy for both teams, because weapon names differ, so most players bind a T loadout and a CT loadout to two nearby keys and use whichever applies.

Useful CS2 binds worth setting up

Four are worth the trouble for almost everyone. Grenade slot binds, jump on the scroll wheel, a crosshair switch and a radio or callout key. All four are single-action binds, so all four still work everywhere.

There are plenty more, and they are collected with the reasoning for each in our best CS2 binds list. If it is only utility you are after, the CS2 grenade binds guide goes through the slot numbers one by one.

Why your bind is not working

Start with the automation ban, because since August 2024 it is the most common cause by a wide margin and almost no guide mentions it. If your bind chains two movement or attack actions, it is not broken and there is nothing to fix. It is blocked.

Source of the legality states
Valve's Side-stepping Skill update of 19 August 2024, which states that in-game binds containing more than one movement or attack action no longer work and that players suspected of automating multiple actions from a single input may be kicked. Last reviewed 24 August 2026.
What this tool does not do
It outputs text that you paste yourself. Nothing is installed, nothing runs alongside the game, and no file on your machine is read or written unless you choose to download the config.
