About the Scholarship
The Tradeit Scholarship is for ambitious students who live and breathe gaming. Whether you're a future esports pro, a game developer in the making, or a content creator, we want to support your journey and provide financial assistance to help you achieve your educational goals.
How to Apply
Your application must be fully submitted by September, 2026. This is a competitive program, so please provide thorough and thoughtful responses to all prompts.
- Personal Information: Your full name, current address, and phone number.
- Goals and Motivation: A short statement about your planned course of study, the school you will attend, and your future career ambitions.
- Academic Transcript: A current, official transcript from your school. It must include your name, the school's name, and a clear record of your courses and grades.
- Creative Submission (Choose One):
- Essay: From luxury handbags to rare sneakers, people have always valued exclusive physical items. In 500 words or less, discuss how this concept of value and status is translating into the digital world of in-game items and what this means for the future of virtual economies.
- Video: Create a YouTube video (max 2 minutes) discussing a specific game that has significantly impacted your personal development or career aspirations.
- Letter of Recommendation: A letter from a teacher, school administrator, or community leader who has supervised you. This must be an original letter written for this scholarship and cannot be from a relative.
Are You Eligible?
To be considered for the Tradeit Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Be a high school senior, high school graduate, or a current undergraduate/graduate student.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Plan to enroll in a full-time program at an accredited U.S. college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire academic year.
