Valve Releases a Useful Update for CS2 Skin Collectors

Skins are a huge part of CS2, so any bug or inconvenience related to them affects millions of players. Spending $20 or more on a skins or a sticker and then having a bad experience because of some weird issue is not exactly fun.

On May 14, Valve released a new CS2 update that introduces only a handful of changes. But one of them is very important for those who have large inventories, and especially stickers.

“Minimally scraped stickers now cover over the gap on the front grip of the AK-47.”

What this means is that if you want to scrape the sticker just a little bit, its placement on the front part of your AK-47 will not look terrible. However, keep in mind that if you go beyond a certain threshold, the effect will be ruined.

Why This Change Is Significant

CS2 AK-47 Stickers

The AK-47 is easily one of the most important guns in CS2. There are numerous skins that you can buy for this rifle, and most players are very proud of their uniquely customized AK.

In some cases, hundreds or even thousands of dollars are spent just to achieve the perfect customization with some of the most prestigious stickers in the game.

The design of the rifle itself used to create a visual inadequacy for those who wanted to scrape their stickers. But now, that problem is gone, as long as you minimally scrape your stickers and don’t overdo it.

Other Changes

Apart from the change related to AK-47 stickers, the latest CS2 update has populated the regional and world leaderboards for season 2. It also added a HUD setting, called “Glow Weapon with Rarity Color”. Experimenting with it can be quite fun.

Last but not least, the update fixed a bug where weapons purchased with “Buy & Throw” could be refunded after firing.
