Team Vitality Is Denied the Grand Final Once Again

Share

It seems that the semifinal defeat from IEM Cologne was not a fluke.

Team Vitality continues to be one of the strongest teams in CS2. However, there are now at least three teams that can beat them. MOUZ did at IEM Cologne, The MongolZ did here, at BLAST Bounty Fall 2025, and by extension, Spirit could do it as well.

The MongolZ and Team Spirit advanced to the Grand Final of BLAST Bounty Fall after two challenging matches. Here is a brief description of what happened.

MOUZ vs. Spirit: 0 – 2

MOUZ had a great start in this match, winning the first half of Ancient 8 – 4. However, Spirit proved once again that they simply do not lose morale in such scenarios, pushing the battle into overtime. Only one round of OT was needed. With momentum on their side, Spirit won 14 – 16.

The second map, Mirage, was completely one-sided: 2 – 10 into 5 – 13.

This time, it wasn’t just Danil “donk” Kryshkovets who played exceptionally well. It was Ivan “zweih” Gogin, too. If Spirit wins another trophy so soon after IEM Cologne, it’s clear that we now have another leader in CS2.

Vitality vs. The MongolZ: 0 – 2

This match started well for both teams. The score after the first half of Mirage was 6 – 6. But then The MongolZ shifted gears and won 7 – 13.

On the second map, they were even more impressive, winning the first half 2 – 10. Vitality attempted a comeback and nearly did the impossible again, but they were stopped right in the last round. The score was 11 – 13.

It cannot be said that any Vitality player had a poor performance. Rather, it was the phenomenal performance of Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold and Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch that decided the match.
