Qualified Teams
Before listing the qualified teams for the Major, it’s worth noting that Astralis, ENCE, SAW, BIG, Fnatic, and GamerLegion missed the tournament. For Astralis, ENCE, BIG, and GamerLegion, who were expected to qualify, this result is devastating and will likely lead to roster changes.
Here are the 16 teams that qualified for the Austin Major:
- OG
- HEROIC
- Metizport
- Nemiga Gaming
- BetBoom Team
- B8
- Complexity

Most of these teams are well-known, even though they’re not as successful as the world’s best competitors.
One of the names that may not catch people’s attention is NRG. In the North American qualifier, this team finished 3rd and has a good chance of performing well in the Major. Among the players who compete for this team are Joshua “oSee” Ohm, Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella, and Alexander “br0” Bro.
If you’ve been watching Counter-Strike events for at least five years, you’re probably familiar with all of them and their achievements.
