BLAST Premier: World Final 2024

Share

BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 will be played much earlier this year. Usually, the tournament takes place in December. But this time, it will take place between October 30 – November 3.

One thing that has stayed the same, however, is the small number of participants and their strength. Only eight teams compete in the tournament but every single one of them is formidable.

The winner is hard to predict. All we know is that Natus Vincere have dominated this competitive year, especially its second part, playing in six consecutive Grand Finals of S-tier events and winning three of them.

Format, Prize Pool, and Location

BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 will take place in Singapore. Its format is very simple. The teams are divided into two groups of four. The winner of each group advances to the semifinals. The 2nd and 3rd place teams advance to the quarterfinals.

Only four matches will be played in each group: two opening matches, one elimination match and one winners match. All of them will be best-of-three series. The Grand Final, as usual, will be a best-of-five match and its winner receives $500.000. The total prize pool is $1 million.

Participants

Here are the eight teams that will compete in BLAST Premier: World Final 2024:

Group A

  • Astralis
  • FaZe Clan
  • MOUZ
  • Natus Vincere

Group B

  • G2 Esports
  • Team Liquid
  • Team Spirit
  • Team Vitality

As you can see, both groups are full of top teams, so it’s impossible to guess which ones will be eliminated. Based on what happened in recent months, you would think that Astralis and Team Liquid will finish 4th in their groups. But that’s not guaranteed.

As for the likely winners, Natus Vincere and G2 Esports have the highest chances. But the differences are so small that both of them are only slightly better than the rest.
