BLAST Open Spring 2025 takes place in Lisbon and Copenhagen between March 19 – 30. This $400.000 tournament brings together 16 of the world’s best CS2 teams and will be very fun to watch.
Just recently, we saw what Team Vitality and MOUZ were capable of at ESL Pro League S21. The two Grand Finalists from that competition will likely face each other again because they’re both in group A.
However, the same group includes formidable teams like Team Spirit, Astralis, FaZe Clan, and Team Falcons. All four of them could realistically disrupt MOUZ and Vitality’s plans.
With only three out of eight teams in each group advancing to the playoffs, the battle will be fierce. Luckily, the format is double-elimination and all matches are best-of-three. So if a team loses a match, they’re not out of the race yet.
Group A Participants
Here are the eight teams that will play in group A of BLAST Open Spring 2025:
- Team Spirit
- Huns
- Team Falcons
- MOUZ
- FaZe Clan
- Virtus.pro
- Astralis
- Team Vitality
This group will be very tough for everyone. Vitality should qualify without too many problems. But everyone else will struggle. If there aren’t any upsets, Vitality, MOUZ, and Spirit should be the winners.
Group B Participants
Here are the eight teams that will play in group B of BLAST Open Spring 2025:
- G2 Esports
- Imperial Esports
- Team Liquid
- Eternal Fire
- Natus Vincere
- FURIA Esports
- M80
- The MongolZ
The favorites in this group are G2 Esports, Team Liquid, The MongolZ, and Natus Vincere. But only three of them can advance to the playoffs. It’s not clear at this point whether NAVI’s defeat against The MongolZ in the playoffs of ESL Pro League S21 was a fluke or not. We will soon find out.
