BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 Semifinals Preview

The semifinals of BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 look very exciting. Both of them will provide one of the teams with the opportunity to finally win a match against an opponent whose playstyle has proven to be highly effective against their own.

Eternal Fire will play against G2 Esports, while Natus Vincere will play against Team Spirit.

G2 Esports vs. Eternal Fire

Even without Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, G2 Esports have demonstrated at this event that they continue to be one of the world’s best CS2 teams. Their victories against B8, BIG, and BetBoom Team were not necessarily impressive because these opponents aren’t in the top 10. But they were still encouraging.

If G2 can beat Eternal Fire, then they certainly have a chance to win the trophy. So far, EF have managed to eliminate Fluxo, Team Falcons, and Team Vitality, so they are obviously in great shape. It seems that the decision to replace Buğra “Calyx” Arkın with Samet “jottAAA” Köklü was an inspired one.

Natus Vincere vs. Team Spirit

Historically, Na’Vi have had a rough time against Spirit. In 2024, they only managed to beat them once in six matches. Both teams chose to keep their rosters intact, so unless the Ukrainians have finally learned their lesson, it’s hard to be optimistic about their chances.

However, despite what the statistics say and the fact that Danil “donk” Kryshkovets looks unstoppable, Na’Vi can still win if they manage to neutralize his usual impact. We know he can be beaten and demoralized because we’ve seen him underperforming from time to time.

But after winning the CS2 Player of the Year award for 2024, donk is probably more confident than ever that he can carry his team.

Whoever wins this match will be the favorite in the Grand Final, which is scheduled to be played tomorrow.
