Share

BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 starts later today but only eight of the initial 32 teams are in the race. They are competing for $500.000 in prize money and a lot of prestige.

BLAST is one of the best-known tournament organizers in CS2, and their events are respected around the world. They also feature the best teams in the game, so winning one of them at the start of a new year is probably on the objective list of any competitor.

Dates And Location

BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 is scheduled to take place between January 23 – 26. Two matches will be played on each day for the first three days. The Grand Final takes place on the final day and will be a best-of-five series.

The tournament’s location is Copenhagen, Denmark. This could have offered a major advantage to the Danish teams, except that none of them survived the Closed Qualifier.

Participants

Here are the eight teams that will compete in BLAST Bounty Spring 2025:

  • G2 Esports
  • Natus Vincere
  • Team Vitality
  • Team Spirit
  • BetBoom Team
  • PaiN Gaming
  • Eternal Fire
  • HEROIC

There are a lot of important names missing from this list:

  • Astralis
  • FaZe Clan
  • Team Liquid
  • MOUZ
  • Team Falcons
  • Virtus.pro
  • FURIA Esports
  • BIG

Any of these eight teams could have qualified for the LAN event.

Initial Matches

The Quarterfinals of BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 look very exciting:

  • G2 Esports vs. BetBoom Team
  • Natus Vincere vs. paiN Gaming
  • Team Vitality vs. Eternal Fire
  • Team Spirit vs. HEROIC

For Spirit, this match against HEROIC will be the perfect opportunity to take revenge over the Grand Final they lost against them in 2024, at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade #1.

Team Vitality are in a similar situation in relation to Eternal Fire. The Turks eliminated them from ESL Pro League S20 in the Quarterfinals. Winning against them would give them a lot of joy and a confidence boost.
