CS2 is 10 years old and between August 16<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 23<sup>rd<\/sup>, players can earn the CS2 birthday coin.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, the opportunity will be gone forever, so if you\u2019re serious about playing the game long-term and want to collect a special item that may be worth some money 5-10 years from now, this is the chance. Luckily for fans, the conditions of obtaining the coin are very simple and will be discussed later in the article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id='valve-s-update'  id=\"boomdevs_1\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-valve-s-update\"><strong>Valve\u2019s Update<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally, Valve\u2019s August 16<sup>th<\/sup> update was supposed to contain the much-anticipated Source 2 game update that was hinted at a while ago. That ultimately didn\u2019t happen and was probably delayed for QA reasons, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/app\/730\">CS2 community<\/a> still got a lot of nice things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id='new-maps'  id=\"boomdevs_2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Maps<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new maps that you can play are these:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anubis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Breach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuscan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Primetime<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blagai<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, Anubis, Breach, and Tuscan are definitely worth playing. Who knows? Maybe one day we\u2019ll get to see one of these maps in professional tournaments. It all depends on what professional players think of them, and the statistics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it turns out that these <a href=\"https:\/\/tradeit.gg\/blog\/cs2-maps-ranked\/\">CS2 maps<\/a> are too CT-sided or too T-sided, they\u2019ll either have to be reworked or they won\u2019t be considered for the Active Duty Map Pool.
