PGL Major Copenhagen Talent List

PGL Major Copenhagen

PGL Major Copenhagen is scheduled to start on Sunday and we now know who else will delight us apart from the teams themselves and the screaming fans.

As usual, a tournament of this caliber will feature more than a dozen talented people, including two desk hosts, eight commentators, and four analysts. There will also be a stage host, a reporter, and more than a dozen in-game observers who will try to capture every clutch and opening kill.

The Desk Hosts

The two desk hosts should be familiar to everyone who watches CS2. They are Richard Lewis and Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere.

Richard needs no introduction because he’s won the Esports Journalist of the Year Award three times, annoying more than a handful of companies with his journalistic investigations.

As for Sjokz, she’s also very well known in the esports industry for her contributions to League of Legends and Counter-Strike.

PGL Major Copenhagen won’t be her first Major, so we can expect to see a confident desk host. Certainly more confident than Richard, who tends to be a bit shy at big events. On Twitch and YouTube, he’s much more relaxed, but that won’t be an issue.

The Analysts

The four analysts of this CS2 Major are listed below:

  • Sudhen “Bleh” Wahengbam
  • Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez
  • Jason “moses” O’Toole
  • Jacob “Pimp” Winneche

All of them have been around for quite a few years, and are experts when it comes to the tactical side of the game.

The Commentators

The Copenhagen Major will feature some amazing commentators. At least five of them are among the best in the history of Counter-Strike.

  • Anders “Anders” Blume
  • Henry “HenryG” Greer
  • Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill
  • Alex “Machine” Richardson
  • Harry “JustHarry” Russell
  • Hugo “Hugo Bryon” Bryon
  • Mohan “launders” Govindasamy
  • Conner “Scrawny” Girvan

The first four people on this list are synonymous with expertise when it comes to hyping and analyzing Counter-Strike matches in real-time. The other four are also really good and enjoyable to listen to.

Other Talent

The stage host will be James Banks, who has been an interviewer at big CS2 events for more than five years.

The reporter will be none other than Pala Gilroy Sen. He’s been around for nearly 10 years and is known for his unique style.

Overall, PGL Major Copenhagen should be a very captivating event from beginning to end. And since it’s the first Major in the history of Counter-Strike 2, it has a real chance of breaking a lot of viewership records.
